So, finally had a full day of work (in preparation for the hell that is going to be tomorrow) and I spent it, well, for starters, I spent the whole day in overalls and that was hot. Worth it though, because otherwise I'd have gotten paint on my clothes while doing this:

Our internet has been dead since, well, since June. We got back 2 July from California (which was totally awesome and wonderful in so many ways. I swam with wild dolphns man.) and by then, the internet had been dead for a good few days. I have made do with my phone internet but it's simply not as good as a laptop. Went to see the Hunger Games yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. It was a nice movie, close to the book. I have somethings that I wished they had done differently, but isn't that always the case? I had a great time though, even if we hardly made it there in time. Going to look forward to the next one, even if we won't have it until a year or so ( Read more... )

So I deleted my entire 21,000 word SuperWhoLock fic because of a stupid mistake. I had about ten seconds of panic when my brain thought of who I sent what parts for read-throughs and how I could puzzle it all together, before I remembered that since I had a similar scarce when my computer broke down, I saved a back-up, and I actually refreshed it ( Read more... )

So, I finally ended my unemployment and went to work today. It's at Bauhaus,a building warehouse, but I'm just a cashier, so I've been slightly panicking when people have asked me about this and that about pipes and will this electronic thing fit with this thing that I have no idea what it is.

My friend picked me up and we drove cross-county (which really isn't as impressive as it sounds considering it's Sweden's thinnest part and it took about one and a half hour. I was invited to my boyfriend's grandmother today. Usually it's coffee and home-made cakes and so, so I dressed in nice jeans and a good-looking t-shirt. Only, when I got there everybody was dressed to the nines. There was a man wearing a three-piece suit for God's sake, and there were dresses and suits and blouses.
